Martinsville, IN: In a town where sports are deep in tradition, professional bass anglers are set to relay some of the secrets of the sport of bass fishing in the Bass University Conference, presented by the Professional Anglers Association (PAA). Tim Horton, Randy Howell, Gene Ellison and David Dudley are the featured speakers over the October 24-25 weekend in Boston, Massachusetts. One lucky attendee will also win a day of fishing with Randy Howell on famous, Lake Guntersville in Alabama.

The conference consists of two, seven hour days of classroom style instruction.  Each day of instruction entails lectures, question and answer sessions, and a lunch break, with a meal included.  Also included in the conference are tackle gift packs and a Bass University Conference t-shirt. The information from these top bass pros has taken many years for them to learn and perfect, but can be supplied to you over a weekend. The tips and information provided by the pros at this conference is knowledge you won’t find anywhere else.

“It’s learning at its finest,” stated Tim Horton, former BASS Angler of the Year. “Our vision for the conference is to attract anglers from all over the country to learn everything from the basic elements of bass fishing, to the tricks of the trade from the pros.”

The cost of the two-day event is only $140. Registration can be made online at or by calling toll free to 1-877-674-1170.

Jason Seaton is a PAA pro and Event Director for the Bass University Conference. “I love bass fishing and enjoy sharing my experiences with everyone I know. Having pros here like Tim Horton, Randy Howell, and David Dudley adds credibility to the event,” stated Seaton.

Florence, Alabama will host the event on November 7-8 with David Walker and Jimmy Mason joining Gerald Swindle and Tim Horton. Hurst, Texas will welcome the Bass University Conference on December 5-6. In Texas, Tim Horton will join fellow pro anglers Kelly Jordan, Zell Rowland, and John Crews.
